What to expect
This integration will help you to assess how performances affect your customer's experience. You will be able to access Contentsquare session replays directly in your APM Dashboard in order to see exactly what a user was doing when an error occurred and combine the technical data of your APM with the behavioral data surfaced from Contentsquare to uncover and prioritize the issues that have the greatest impact on your customer experience and revenue. When identifying an issue in a Contentsquare session replay, you will also be able to find the link to the corresponding Datadog session so that you can investigate it further in your APM.

To properly make use of the replay feature you need to either have 100% collection ratio or ETR (Event Triggered replay), please talk to your CSM about this.

In order to use the full integration, please provide your Contentsquare CSM or support team with your DataDog login domain, for example: app.datadoghq.eu or app.datadoghq.com. There are other options also. This will allow you go from the Contentsquare session replay to the relevant DataDog session. See usage instructions below.

Verifying it works
You can use the chrome extension to check the results are sent to CS
Note that it will only send this once per session on the very first pageview, so to test this you will need to delete cookies then reload.
- Note that you will only see a replay link for those users who had session replay generated by Contentsquare.
- The % depends on the ratio your account has, you can have that increased by talking to your CSM.
