Implementation
Go to your Monetate back office https://marketer.monetate.net/
Select your project
Go to your Integration page
Click on Add Report and select Contentsquare
Open a new tab and log in to Contentsquare, then go to the Console.
Access the project you would like to use Monetate with
Go to the Integrations section and select Monetate
Click Add New
Insert your API account name and API access token provided by Monetate earlier on
Give a name to this integration, select the sites for which segments should be imported and click Add integration
You should then see the integration active in your integrations menu
IP Exclusions
Before you put the integration live you should do a comparison between IP’s that are excluded in Monetate and IPs that are excluded in Contentsquare.
You should also add the Monetate office IPs to Contentsquare’s exclusion rules (please speak to your Monetate CSM to get these) and you should exclude the Contentsquare office IP’s within Monetate (your Contentsquare CSM can provide these).
To configure or check the Monetate IP exclusion rules, do the following:
Select Sites from the settings menu:
Select Stealth Groups:
Click on Create Stealth Group
Zoning creation with Kibo
You can create a new Zoning based on the Kibo variation of your choice. Contentsquare automatically pulls both the data and the accurate snapshot from the variation selected.
- Go to the Zoning analysis feature
- Click 'New zoning analysis', select a version, devices, page, etc. and click 'Start analysis'

Select 'Ab test' to create a zoning based on the variation of your choic
4. Choose a group of URLs (from a mapping)
5. You can change the preview URL
6. Choose the variation
7. Click 'Let's go!'
The related segment will automatically populate the Analysis context when you use this zoning. If the segment based on the variation you selected does not yet exist, Contentsquare will automatically create it for you.
If you want to compare two AB test variations, you will need to create a Zoning for each variation, and then compare them via the side-by-side option.
